PROBLEM

A global Financial Institute provides services across 40 countries. To carry out its regular business and to comply with regulations, the company needs to manage requests from many external entities and internal departments.

As a result, the company needs to process 30,000 faxes per day of handwritten and machine printed communications. Processing 30,000 faxes per day needs 600 employees at a rate of 0.2 documents per minute. A laborious work with large quantity of inaccuracies.

The company wonder if Artificial Intelligence could help to process this large documentation, saving costs with time and accuracy, and assigning employees’ resources to a less manual jobs.

SOLUTION

We used our T7 Machine to learn documentation patterns for right classification process. After the training, the T7 Machine was able to understand transaction types reading the key information required for classification.

The T7 Machine read 53 documents per minute and feed automatically to downstream systems, integrating into the company workflow. At the same time, it is able to right process the 80% of documents, and to understand which documents are not properly classified. Thanks to T7 Machine speed and success ratio, the company just need 30 employees assigned to this manual job, saving wasted operational costs.
